NCC Education is a global provider and awarding body of British education. We provide the complete education solution to over 200 Accredited Partner Centres in more than 45 countries worldwide. By working in partnership with Accredited Partner Centres and universities we provide students with affordable qualifications in Business and IT, from foundation through to degree, master's level and beyond
Our head office is based in Manchester, United Kingdom.
NCC Education is regulated by the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).
No. NCC Education works with university partners in the UK who offer top-up programmes either online or in-country for undergraduate and master's level awards. Students can study for an NCC Education qualification (many of which are equivalent to year 1, 2 or 3 of a UK honours degree), or a degree or master's programme, awarded by a British university.
No. CMC is an Accredited Partner of NCC Education. Our role is to prepare students for the examination provided by NCC Education's affiliated universities in UK.
Over 50 universities worldwide accept NCC Education programmes as entry onto their degree programmes. Full listings of universities and the NCC Education programmes they recognise can be found here.
NCC Education has collaborative partnerships with three UK universities:
  • University of Wales - validates and awards BSc programmes in Business and IT through NCC Education
  • University of Greenwich - awards BSc and BA programmes in Business and IT through NCC Education
  • University of Hertfordshire - allows NCC Education L7DSBIT students entry onto its MSc in Strategic Business Information Systems (MSc SBIS) course
NCC Education programmes are designed to provide the same educational value as a standard three year bachelors degree. However, our courses are designed to allow students the flexibility to study for their bachelors degree in the way most suitable for them. Unlike standard UK bachelors degrees, we provide a stand-alone qualification and certificate at each stage of the degree journey.
Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) is the leading provider and developer of Information Security Certifications. GIAC tests and validates the ability of practitioners in information security, forensics, and software security. GIAC certification holders are recognized as experts in the IT industry and are sought globally by government, military and industry to protect the cyber environment
Current or prospective employers recognize GIAC certification as an indication of your demonstrated knowledge and skill in computer security. There are two basic differences between a GIAC certification and any other education or certification program. First, no one else covers this material! We have gone to extreme effort to fill in the gap, to identify the skills and knowledge that organizations wish their employees had and to find the faculty that could produce those courses. Second, you must master this material to pass. The "certificate suitable for framing" is not the purpose of the program. You are going to know the information and possess the skills that your employer desperately wants you to have. In fact, to earn a GIAC certification, you must prove you know how to do the tasks required. Employers who have reviewed the materials and the requirements have been unanimous in saying: "People who have this certification are exactly what we are looking for in our organization." In other words, the certifications will have the most valuable recognition of all - they'll be used to select employees for hiring and promotion.
Computer-Based Testing is a method of administering tests via computer. It is also known as CBT, e-Assessment and sometimes called onscreen. It supports the transition of any paper-based method of questioning into a computer-based version of the same test.
LAN server-based testing commonly referred to as ‘onscreen’ testing is typically used for high-stakes exams in which successful performance leads to a licence to practice. Onscreen testing relies on the internet to transfer tests, but tests are transferred in an encrypted state and then stored on a local server at the test centre. Tests must then be ‘unlocked’ by the test centre Administrator before they are delivered to a workstation. As well as maximum security, LAN server-based testing eliminates problems associated with internet connectivity during testing and helps robust consistent delivery conditions. ‘Online’ testing, on the other hand relies on the internet to deliver tests. Typically, this is used for low stakes or practice tests, the advantage being that tests do not have to be delivered at specific locations. However, there is a risk of losing connection during an exam, especially in areas where broadband is not prevalent, and there is a greater potential for security breaches.
The results can be issued to the candidate immediately after testing, at the test centre; or you can choose to issue the results at a later date. Either way the results will be available to you immediately after the test is completed.
Typically you are asked to bring two forms of identification, including one government-issued photo identification such as MyKad (if you are Malaysian). Some test programmes may have additional requirements. The items you are asked to bring differs for each test program. You will receive a confirmation email with programme-specific information.
Classroom testing is used to allow candidates to test immediately after taking a class.
Typically you are asked to arrive at the test centre 15-30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. This extra time will give you an opportunity to check-in and to relax prior to beginning your test. The amount of time you are asked to arrive at the test centre before your scheduled appointment time differs for each programme. You will receive a confirmation email with programme-specific information.
Pearson VUE is required to submit test results to your test programme within 24-72 hours of its completion.
Yes, Pearson VUE and your test programme may allow time extensions and other accommodations to those who are identified as having special needs. If you need additional time to complete your test, we ask that you please speak with a Pearson VUE agent at the time of registration. At that point, a decision will be made about whether your appointment time can be extended for your specific situation, based on the test programme’s policies.
When candidates arrive for an exam, they go through a standard admissions process required of all candidates. For example, candidates are asked to provide two forms of identification, to agree in writing to a set of exam rules and to sign a log sheet. (Specific exam sponsors may have other identification or check-in requirements).
