What is this course about
This course prepares you for Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification examination (Exam Code : 642-902, 642-813, 642-832). The CCNP exam is a professional level networking certification to recognize advanced skills in computer networking, particularly for installation and support of medium-sized LAN/WAN networks (having 100-500 nodes). The CCNP certification is appropriate for those with at least one year of networking experience who are ready to advance their skills and work independently on complex network solutions
The CCNP focuses on routing and switching of scalable networks including intranets and campuses. To obtain a CCNP, students have to complete the certification by passing three exams (642-902, 642-813, 642-832). As with all other Cisco certification exams, it is strongly recommended that students prepare for the exam by getting hands-on experience with Cisco equipment which is provided in our course.
The certification is valid for three years; at that time a CCNP holder must either take and pass an exam for one of the Professional (e.g. CCNP) or Specialist level certifications (excluding the sales specialist exams), or pass the (CCIE) written exam.
What you will learn from this course
Our course will cover the following topics that are likely to be included on the Cisco Certified Network Professional exam. However, other related topics may also appear on any specific delivery of the exam. In order to better reflect the contents of the exam and for clarity purposes, the guidelines below may change at any time without notice.
1. Implementing Cisco IP Routing (ROUTE) - Exam 642-902
The ROUTE course is designed for network engineers with at least one year of professional work experience, who are ready to advance their skills and work independently on complex network solutions. Students will learn to plan, configure and verify the implementation of secure enterprise LAN and WAN routing solutions using a range of routing protocols. Course also covers configuration of solutions to support branch offices and mobile workers.
