What is this course about

CCNAThis course prepares you for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification examination (Exam Code : 640:802). The CCNA exam is the composite exam associated with the CCNA Routing and Switching certification. This exam tests a candidate's knowledge and skills required to install, operate, and troubleshoot a small to medium size enterprise branch network. The topics include connecting to a WAN; implementing network security; network types; network media; routing and switching fundamentals; the TCP/IP and OSI models; IP addressing; WAN technologies; operating and configuring IOS devices; extending switched networks with VLANs; determining IP routes; managing IP traffic with access lists; establishing point-to-point connections; and establishing Frame Relay connections.

Participants shall have the option of gaining the certification by passing two tests (ICND1 640-822 and ICND2 640-816), or one single test (CCNA 640-802). The certification is valid for three years; after which the CCNA holder must either take and pass an exam for one of the Professional (e.g. Cisco Certified Network Professional-CCNP) or Specialist level certifications (excluding the sales specialist exams), or pass the (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert-CCIE) written exam.

What you will learn from this course

Our course will cover the following topics that are likely to be included on the Cisco Certified Network Associate exam. However, other related topics may also appear on any specific delivery of the exam.
