The course aims to provide participants with conceptual and theoretical frameworks in hospitality and tourism operation management. It is suited for those who wish to acquire some core skills and fundamental knowledge about hospitality and tourism business or as the first step into tertiary education specialising in this area of study.

Structure
There are 12 lessons in total. The lessons will provide students with a macro view of the hospitality and tourism industry, and its various key sectors. They also touch on the fundamentals of the business as well as information on products, procedures, technology and careers in the industry

AssesmentsThe assessment of a student during the course will be based on the following:
Testing of the core knowledge is largely through assignment work.
Best suited for
- Junior level working professionals in the hospitality and tourism industry who wish to upgrade their skills and knowledge to raise their service level.
- Mature candidates who hold Statement of Achievement (SOA) qualification and Career Readiness Certificate certifying Workplace Literacy Level 5 and Workplace Numeracy Level 5 awarded by Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA).
