  • Note: To be eligible for exemptions from ACCA papers 2.1 and 2.2, Business & Corporate Law (LA 2540) and Business Information Systems (FE 2027) must be completed.

  • 3 years Honours program
  • 6 modules to be completed in 2 semesters for each level
  • 14 teaching weeks per semester; 2 semesters per year
  • 5 ½ hours of teaching per subject per week

  • Coursework 20 - 50%
  • End of semester written examination 50 - 80%
  • *Except for BU212, BU303, BU316 and AF337 which consist of 100% coursework.
    • ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
    • (Any one of the following)
    • Foundation in Science
    • 2 STPM Grade C/'A' Level passes and 3 SPM/'O' Level credits
    • 5 Bs in Senior Middle 3 (UEC)
    • 5 CPU passes with a minimum average of 50%
    • 5 SAM/TEE examination passes with a university aggregate of 50%
    • Equivalent qualification
    • and
    • 3 SPM/'O' Level credits
    • and
    • a pass in Bahasa Melayu (for Malaysians only)
    • Consideration will be given on an individual basis to applicants who do not satisfy any of the above entry requirements.

  • Upon completion of the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance degree, students are eligible for exemptions from a maximum of 9 papers offered in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification
